I am looking for a diagram of the plumbing. I have a leaking pipe going from the water pump down through the floor. I'm wanting to find out the best way to access it. Thank You

Is a fitting on the water pump leaking?
It's where the pump feeds a T valve, and it goes through the floor of the coach. Its a shark bite fitting, and either the fitting is leaking or the pipe. There is no room for movement of the pipe. I purchased this as a project, and the previous owner made numerous modifications, so I'm unsure if this is the original plumbing configuration. I'm thinking I may have to go under the coach and cut the pipe and put a new, longer 1/2 pipe up through the floor. I have not looked under the van yet, so I'm unsure if it's easy access. Thank you for your help.

It would help to have a few more pictures to get a perspective of whats going on but those are not shark bite fittings but barbed fitting and they are using hose clamps as I can see. Your pump should have flex lines in and out.

This does not look like Roadtrek piping? I have nothing that looks like that on my 2008 210 Popular?

It looks like you've got a few things going on there. On the left piping starting at the floor, I see new press type fitting going to original RT piping, clamp and 90 degree fitting going to a new run of reinforced tubing. On the right side starting at the floor, I see new press fit fitting going to original RT piping and crimp on original RT fitting, then going to new blue pex with the wide crimp rings. It's possible that both the crimps on the original RT white PEX piping may have been replaced. Looks like someone probably replaced piping under the chassis, but then didn't fully replace all the original white PEX and just used the easy press fit connections. Easy peasy if nothing's wrong with what's left and reused.

I assume it's the right line that's leaking, or do you not know which is leaking?

On the right side just above the bottom press fit fitting, it's butted up against the original white PEX clamp. It's possible that this clamp is not allowing the tubing to be pressed far enough into the fitting to not leak, but it does look like the ring is fully extended. It's also possible that the bottom side of this fitting is leaking right above the floor.

For trying to figure out where it's leaking, I would probably make sure everything is dry, then if you can't get your head into that area to see well, use your camera and record video and watch while someone turns the pump on or turns the faucet on to use city water. Record slowly while moving the camera around and then later watch the vide to see if you can see where water first starts to form. There may not be much capillary action happening (where water moves against gravity), so the highest point where it leaks may be where the issue is. You may also have a situation where this area froze and the person replaced some of the pieces, but the brass fittings themselves are cracked slightly where the body of the fitting meets up with the hose barbed piping.

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about it now, but you may want to put replacing that reinforced tubing on the list of to do items in the next couple years. I believe that stuff hardens over time and is prone to cracking, and these vehicles will do a lot of bouncing and jiggling when driven.

Thank you. I think the same thing about it not being able to insert into the fitting completely. There is no room for movement. Do you know if you can see the 1/2" pipe from under the coach easily? If so it should be an easy fix.

Depending on where this piping you took pictures of is inside, it may be easy to see the plumbing under the chassis, or may be somewhat difficult to get to. I believe our 08 210P has the incoming water lines to the pump just ahead of the drivers side rear wheel. What is run outside/under the chassis, I believe, is in the wheelwell, and sometimes tucked between the frame and fiberglass body of the 210. It may be easy to see, but accessing it may be difficult.

Ok here are pictures from my 2008 210 P Roadtrek it looks nothing like what you have. Unsure of all the use of Sharkbite for plastic fittings? This is all to the rear next to the wheel well and refrigerator. IMG_2090.jpgIMG_2089.jpgIMG_2088.jpgIMG_2086.jpg

A 200 on a cutaway is going to be different, most likely, in some ways to the rest our full bodied vans, simple because it is on cutaway with a full fiberglass box on it. Cutaways are usually a bit higher underneath with different frame design.

On the full bodies like ours, we have a bundle of 4, I think, hoses that go through the floor in the driver side bolster out near the edge of the floor/ body of the van. The bundle is encased in a big glop of spray foam to seal it from the outside of the van.

On line to fresh tank, one to shore water, and 2 to the outside faucet. In our 07 all are pex with crimp fittings.

Thank you. I am working on repairing the tubing, etc. I think I almost have it. I need to get up underneath of mine and see what it looks like. I can't believe how clean yours looks.
