2006 Pleasureway_TS Interior Lights Don't Come On

I notice that when the sliding door or the rear doors of my 2006 Pleasureway-TS are opened, there are no interior lights that come on, not even the one in the driver's compartment. When I open the front doors, the one in the driver's compartment comes on.

I posed this question to Phil at Pleasureway, but have not heard back from him yet.

My question is this the way it is supposed to work, or maybe the door pins/wiring have been disabled?

How do yours work?

I saw this reply by mike_mcginn on RV net:

"The Sprinter dome light is only wired for the
driver & passenger doors. The contacts on the
side and back doors are for door open warnings.
So no dome light for the rear and side doors.
In the cargo version there are optional lights
that could be ordered from Dodge but this does
not apply to our conversions."

I did read that they rattle a bit but a small piece of tape or dab of silicone would probably quieten them.
