2007 Roadtrek 190 Popular Monitor Panel Stays On

Maybe the problem is just with the switch itself. The switch went bad on my 1999 RT 170 so it didn't go on at all, but it was a standard sized switch so I was able to buy a new one at an auto parts store and just swap it out (though the new one was a standard on/off switch not like the original that only stays on as long as you keep it pressed in, so mine actually does now stay on until I switch it back off).

I think you are right, I made an order with Mobilife RV center and they have some in stock, I think they are the best source for Roadtrekkers and the staff are very accomodating and very helpful. thanks for the reply.

I do not remember the details of how I did this, so you need to check about getting the panel off. But I seem to recall some difficulties with the thin grey plastic sheet that the level lights are fixed into, which is attached to the face of the black plastic panel itself. What I can't remember is if there were screws somewhere or if the panel is just clipped on so it can be (gently!) pried off. What I do remember is that, in the process, I separated that thin plastic sheet a little bit so I think if you are not careful it could become detached and I doubt that is repairable. Maybe you can ask Mobilife RV about how to get the panel out to change the switch.
