59k power step and power awning not working

Hi All!!

My power step and power awning both just stopped working. Both switches make no sound when pressing them. They went from working fine to not working at all. I looked at the breakers and at the fuse panel and all look good. I unscrewed the switch panel for the step and that looked to be alll connected. Has anyone had this happen before? Any ideas?

Update. Awning works

Quick update. The awning is fine. I forgot the awning will not work if the engine is running. So that mystery is solved. The step however still will not work.

You've probably already considered this, but the step will not extend while the engine is running either.

Have you tried pulling on the step while the switch is depressed? Maybe something has jammed it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I tried to pull on the step and yes I tried with the engine off. I am going to start to look for the ground wires and check the magnets as they seem to be the common issues.
