Accessing Bulbs in Small Roadtrek Swivel Lights

I have two of these small, 2-3" rotatable lights over my bed in my 2011 Chevy Roadtrek 210 Versatile, does anyone know how to access the bulb? I don't want to break anything by yanking

The lens and the bezel around it come out. That piece is held in by 2 or 3, I am not sure as it has been many years since I had ours apart, little tabs that are very hard to find.

Going around the edge with a fine blade small screw driver and prying the slot open a bit will allow you to find them. Take the fine blade and push tab in a bit and carefully pry up. As they get old and with the lamp heat the tabs can get very brittle so may break off.

Better yet, replace with these LED. Brighter, Lower current, and they don't get hot.

i think the dealership will swap it out with a new one for me, since they put it in in October, but I will keep that in mind, thanks!

Yeh, what they said. 3 "pegs", small flat blade screwdriver, replace with led bulbs. Easy job.

I didn't fight with the dealership about replacing the bulb again for free past 90 day warranty since they fixed my water leaks for free so I finally bought an ST.5 square tip to get the light out but I can't figure out how to access the bulb and I don't want to break anything, any ideas? The bulb appears to be under the white piece but it doesn't twist or seem like it will pop out. Do I need to pry it out?

I got brave and slide a flat head under the white piece and twisted and it popped them apart, it was very corroded after just being changed in Nov so that's a little concerning but now the LED bulbs I bought don't fit through the hole, sigh. I wouldn't care except I sleep at that end and it's nice to have the less bright light available

thanks, I prefer warm spectrum above my bed so I just ordered another halogen for now
