A member is seeking a secure, affordable place to park their Roadtrek 210 for about a week in late June 2026 near Nashua, Peterborough, or Marlborough, NH. Their main requirements are a level, safe, rodent-free spot with access to electricity to keep their fridge running, ideally on gravel or pavement and with people nearby. They find local campgrounds too expensive at $50+ per night and are hoping another member might offer space or suggest alternatives.

Other RVers note that finding... More...

My wife and I are planning a trip east this year in late June and will be meeting my brother and sister in law to travel thru Vermont and New Hampshire for a few days before continuing down to the Cape. I've been looking for a place to leave our camper for a week plugged in to keep the fridge running and it seems that any campground wants $50+ per night to occupy a site. I'm looking to see if we can find something more "reasonable" than $300+ for a parking spot.

We're looking to see if there's anyone on this forum who has extra space at their place where we could leave the camper for a week. Ideally we're looking for: a place that's level, safe and low crime (no vandalism), rodent free, parking on gravel/pavement, has people/family around, and where we can plug in to keep the refrigerator cold.

Our expected arrival date is mid morning of Tuesday June 23rd 2026 (possibly on the evening of the 22nd if we can occupy the camper that evening) and we'll be picking the camper up and heading out approximately mid day on Sunday June 28th.

Send a PM if anyone has a place you're willing to share or any ideas.

Thanks

For $300 you could replace the food in the frig multiple times. Perhaps better to look for a secure storage lot and forget about the frig.

It would be difficult to find a space even without hookup unless someone offers. We visit a relative in Nashua whose driveway is too steep. Nashua in particular is downright hostile to campers.

hours after I posted this, I did find a website where people in the Nashua area were posting their driveways and back areas of their yards for "rent" on a monthly basis, likely in areas that aren't exclusive to Nashua. Exactly how close they were to the city limits of Nashua, I don't know but apparently they're being listed. But all of this was thru a website or phone app, and it's for a monthly basis where the rental contract needs to be cancelled thru the app when it's not needed anymore. If it's possible and before I go to a secure storage lot somewhere, I'd still like to see if someone has extra spare space for a week and we'd prefer to deal with an actual person, not thru some subscription to an app etc.

Thanks.
