A member with a 2011 Roadtrek 210 Versatile reported that a recently replaced Aquapro 3.0 GPM 12V water pump stopped while they were changing the plumbing from winter to summer use and reopening both water tanks. They checked the visible fuses and tried power cycling, then wondered whether running the pump with a valve closed might have damaged it.

Another member suggested a failed pressure switch as a possibility, noting a past experience where frequent cycling burned out an undersized...

I had my water pump replaced by the dealer in Oct and it's worked fine for months, but I was just using it and it stopped working. It's an Aquapro 3.0GM 12v pump, not sure the model number. I checked for inline fuses and I don't see any, I also checked the command center fuse. I tried turning off shore power and 12v for a bit to see if it would reset itself, no luck, does anyone have any other ideas? I was messing with switching the water over from winter to summer so I could use both water tanks and I found a 3rd valve I forgot to open, I hope I didn't accidentally burn it up because no water was running through it, seems like there should be a switch off for that in 2026 so it doesn't happen.

Thanks in advance

It is a good possibility the pressure switch has gone bad. This happened to me. The switch on mine was a really undersized switch. It's size in my opinion was too small. frequent cycling burned it out. I rewired the new pump so the switch pulled a relay that activated the pump.

not sure what the pressure switch is, would that make it not make any noise at all when it's running? how would i tell if mine is using one and is it easy to replace? it's been sitting and now when i try it i get a weird noise for a couple of seconds and then it stops, does this affect the macerator, too?

So, it appears to be working now, I bought the van in Sept in Montana and turned off the front water tank because I was terrified it would freeze on me, but I guess I forgot everything I did and I lost my copy of the manual, the website is down at the moment so I can't get a new one. Anywho, I think my pump is new enough that the pressure switch is integrated in the Aquapro because I am not seeing it anywhere. I tried switching the back valve in the first photo to the other position and now the sink is working better than ever. These lines are in the smaller cubby to the left of the pump cabinet.

apparently I'm still working on it, logically those two valves should be turned inline with the hose, so I switched them again and it's working as expected, will see if that does it now.

I did look up the specs on this aqua pro pump and it includes an integral pressure switch to de energize the pump when its pressurized the water system. It also is supposed to be pretty quiet, unlike the one in our 08 RT 210.

i don't have anything to compare it to, but it's not too quiet, it does have a built in thermal cutoff switch so it won't overheat, i was able to wash dishes, so i think it's fine now
