B-15 Rally in the Smokies

The B-15 Rally in the Smokies is open for registration. It is May17-20 at the River Plantation RV Resort, Sevierville, TN.

B15 Rally

This is the 15th annual rally for camper vans of all manufacturers and DIYfers. They've reserved 50 campsites. Registration is $45 per person with meals and entertainment provided and campsites are $35.50 plus tax per day.

This has always been a good event for rallying with like van owners of all types. My first was B-4 in Raccoon Holler in North Carolina back in 2006 and have subsequently met many fellow B owners across the country. Some online here in the Class B Forums and RV.net where it was first organized. They now have a Group to "rally" around on Facebook.

Thanks for posting the rally notice, David. We could never make the B rallies in the 11 years we owned the LTV Free Spirit. The time frame conflicted with other rallies or travels. We owned a class C for a year and a half and have since returned to our first love, a class B. Maybe this will be the year for this rally.

The B-15 Rally is probably going to fill up faster than normal. They have 42 out of 50 reservations in the queue 5 months out. They often then have a waiting list and the inevitable drop outs have most on the waiting list get in. I dropped out last year 3 weeks before the rally for medical reasons.
