Base plates for 97 Miata

I am looking for base plates that attach to a 97 Miata so I can tow it behind my sprinter van for short trips. New Blue Ox plates are $400+ so I would like to find some used ones.

Go to the web site for the base plates and see if someone can make them for you. That is what I did for 1990 Acura for towing to autocrosses.

Many years ago there was a guy in Houston that was building and selling a set. He was using for pulling his Miata to rally race tracks. I bought a set for my '98 and they worked great. Sorry but don't have his info anymore. Maybe search on the Miata forum.

Are you still looking? I have one, never installed (though I did open the box). It's in Ontario Canada though and I couldn't ship before September 15th.
