Beyond drivers seat swivel?

Hello all, I'm new to the forum, with a new to me 2020 beyond/transit. I'm sure I'll learn lots here.
One thing I'd love to learn is the process for swiveling the driver's seat.
Some years ago i had a roadtrek sprinter with a real PIA process for swiveling the driver's seat.

What does your owners manual say? On my 210 Popular there is a very hard to pull up bar on the right side of the seat.

If it has a rotating seat it was probably added aftermarket. The 2020 manual and sales brochure don't say anything about one being there or factory optional.

Always a good place to start. I am a fan of "read the directions".
.Unfortunately the truck and manual are in a different state until I can them picked-up.

If you decide to install swivels seats in your van I would suggest to stay with barands with some kind of approval. I am not aware off any ratating seats with NHTSA stamp of approval but this one has a German TUV approval rating. It is sold in USA. About SCOPEMA RIB

This seat has 7/8” height, so check if it is OK for you.

The 2020 Beyond driver's seat doesn't swivel. It does beginning in either 21 or 22.

I have the same vehicle. The first time I tried to swivel the seat I worked up a real sweat and almost threw my back out . I suspect it hadn't been swiveled in a long time (if ever) but it's working much better after getting it moving and lubricating.

The attached PDF may help. It's for the passenger seat. Not sure if it's the same process for the driver's side.

Hey there, we have a 2019 CrossFit (name changed to Beyond to appease the lawyers*).
That PDF someone sent is right but it doesn’t tell you you have to REALLY JERK it hard, let me repeat, REALLY JERK IT . Its not a smooth easy unlatching move. It does get easier but you still have to put some jerk into it. BTW, it is the passenger seat not the Drivers seat in our Transit that swivels.
