I have had a 2003 chev roadtrek that has had a slow filling fuel tank since I got it 7 years ago.I had lots of owners with the same problem telling me the problem was the relocation of the filler neck to behind the rear wheel was the problem.Turns out the factory clamp holding the new hose was crushed upon installation.I took it to a shop with a lift to change the brake fluid and try to solve the problem. He found the hose clamp when installed was crushed half closed. He used a set of pliers to get it round again and the probem was solved. Thought I would pass it along to other roadtrek owners of the earlier ones. Now I can hold the fuel wide open and fill it in no time.

This is so common. On my 2015 170, they were still screwing it up. lol Mine wasn't just a bit of a slow fill, but a constant issue with the sensors setting off the check engine light. I had learned to stop topping up with my previous LTV Chevy. So that wasn't the cause. My local Chevy garage finally found basically the same issue. I didn't see exactly what it was with the filler neck. They fixed it for me, and Roadtrek reimbursed me for the fix since it was still under warranty.
