Cutting 110 power cord

For "siting" the location. I planned on using a magnet on the inside of the fiberglass, and a large washer outside. Also made a template of the size for inside and out. Wound up just using the cardboard templates - and lots of reference measuring. Then drilled a small pilot hole to make sure there was plenty of clearance. Happy with the end results.
Best of luck.

Cheers - Jim

Usually you can park close enough to the power pedestal that a short cable will reach. I got a 6' cable to put through the hole. A plus is you can keep a portable surge protector inside the locked compartment, in line between the short cable and the Roadtrek cable.

Deano, I chickened out on how you did yours (for now). Here's what I did. So far it is working. This was someone else's idea-not mine.

Looks good to me and was a safer place to put it as well.
Is that the piece we discussed that came loose? Having it anchored adequately would be my only concern, As I recall, you already did.

Yes, that is the corner cover that came loose. I use expoxy on the strap that attaches to that piece and then I run a screw thru the whole thing. It's pretty strong but not a strong as the side of an RV.
