We just purchased a 2000 Roadtrek Versatile 200. The ignition key will open the driver and front passenger door.

However, the rear passenger door requires a different key. SMH.

Does it sound like the rear passenger lock was changed? I would like to have only one key to open ALL of the doors.

Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated. :thanx:

If by rear door you mean the side door behind the front passenger door that is some sort of non GM door with non GM hardware.

I do not know of a reasonable way to get them all to work with the same key.

Yes, I mean the rear passenger door right behind the front passenger seat.

The 2000 Roadtrek did not have a back/rear door.

I was worried that the separate key / different lock was going to be an issue.

Thank you for your response.

Not sure where Horsehoe Mountain is....

We live in the northern area of the Natural State (Arkansas).

Hello, I have the same vehicle and as others mentioned it is non GM door and the lock assy is made by TriMark with an model # 030-04000 Paddle Handle you may be able to get a locksmith to convert the cylinder in the door lock to match the storage compartment locks but not the cab door locks. Let us know what you wind up doing.

If anyone has replaced the rear door lock could you please let us know where you sourced the replacement paddle handle assembly

Ugh. Thank you for your reply. Why in the world would Roadtrek have different locks on the front driver / passenger door and a separate type of lock on the rear passenger door?

I carry enough keys as it is, so what is one more, right???

Got a great deal on the Roadtrek so I guess this little aggravation :horse:is worth it.

Thanks again.
