This camper conversion has no domelight operable by the door. Only a manual domelight which has a constantly hot wire. Do you think it's possible the manufacturer dead-ended the door switch wires? I can't seem to locate them.

I'm trying to find the wire that I can use to trigger an alarm when any of the doors open. The two front doors don't have pin switches as the switches are part of the latch assembly. The side and rear doors use pin switches. However, I don't know where the wires go, as there is no door-operated domelight on this camper from the factory. Instead, there is a manually-operated map light and manually-operated house lights.
I'd love to access one wire that would trigger my alarm if any of these doors open. Any ideas? Somewhere in the fusebox? Headlight switch? Somewhere else?

I’m trying to figure out the same thing. Any luck?
Also wondering if you’ve found anywhere to fish wiring from back to front? I am looking at camera solutions want to run from third brake light back to in dash reciever.

Additionally, Have you looked at awnings for this van?

Although I tried, I never succeeded in locating the trigger wire. I haven’t scrapped the project, but I have shelved it for the time being, hoping that with time, someone would come along who knew where that wire would be.

For my camera, I just routed the wire high through the cabinets and through the shower, etc. I’ll try to talk about that when I make the video of the van here pretty soon.
