Anyone out there with something close to my '90 Dodge 250 Leisure Van? I just acquired it. A couple of questions.
1. Potable water tank. I don't seem to have a drain valve. The line out does have a threaded coupler which can be unscrewed to serve as a drain, but that's not ideal.
2. Not sure I have a water heater. How could I identify it?

I believe we covered the potable tank drain situation in
another thread.
A hot water tank is usually roughly cube-shaped, probably
covered in some sort of foam-like insulation. It is probably
6 gallons and will be roughly 1.5'x1'x1' in size. It'll have
flex water tubing going into top side and bottom side
of the cube. It will likely be at the outside wall of the
inside of the van and should be close to the external
burner location and vent, if there is one.
Have a look at the outside of your van for an access panel
to a propane burner assembly. The panel would be vented.
In the attached pic, the water heater access panel is
located just in front of the rear tire, and is roughly square.
Couldn't find a decent pic of the actual H/W tank.

Thanks Mike - alas, I don't have a water heater. But that's OK, I don't have one in my tent either when I camp with the motorcycle.

I am looking at one tomorrow. Anyone own one and do you like it? Thanks,
