Exterior Storage Drawer for 2005 Roadtrek

We have a 2005 Roadtrek 210 Versatile, and we need the left rear outside storage drawer. Ours disappeared on our last trip!?! It's the one at the shore power electrical input recepticle. Any ideas where I can find one?

I think that is going to be a very hard thing to find.

You could try Mobilife RV in kitchener as they bought out parts when Roadtrek went under.

Did you retrace your route the day it went AWOL? It may have been able to be put back together.

Bummer, as finding it would probably have been your best option. We have heard of lots of folks trying to find junk yard parts but I don't recall anyone finding any of the hard to find, RV model specific, parts, especially the body parts.

Unless you can do it yourself, fabricating a new drawer would be expensive and difficult to find someone to do it.

That appears to be the place that bought the molds from Roadtrek, but was very slow in getting any product made over the years. I thought they had pretty much disappeared. The drawer itself would still need to be fabricated, but the door is hard appearance and fit part.

Good find.

Mobililiferv has both. The drawer is stainless and has the slides. About $1395 for both but will still have to be painted. Not a cheap fix, but it can be done. I would do it if I needed one. I had the battery drawer on my RT210 come out. Thankfully it was on my road and it didn't wreck anything. The slides gave out. I rebuilt it and added a cable just in case.

Thanks for the drawer info. It's pretty pricey, so I'll continue looking for something from a salvage yard, but it's great to know there is a solution available if I strike out. It's also comforting to hear of someone else who had a drawer fall off....

Please be aware that at Mobilife there have been times that things are listed on the website as available, when they actually had sold what they had. I went through that on a black tank a few years ago. And if they do have one, it easily could be the only one. It is expensive, yes, but with the scarcity of used stuff for Roadtreks and the cost of having the guts of the drawer made, especially in stainless steel, the price isn't all that bad IMO.

I"m looking into having the rear drawer (they call it a tray) fabricated. Could somebody with a 210 please give me the dimensions of the rear driver side storage tray?

Well, the good news: Van.Life in Mississippi has the part, including the moulding, handle and sliders. It's expensive, but they're in the USA so no tariff on the auto parts as there would be from MobilLife RV Center in Canada. I've ordered other moulding parts from them in the past, they've been reliable, and Glinda is great to deal with.

The BAD NEWS: I got scammed on a salvage part, a scam that started with a message from this forum. I haven't been able to find the message on my email accounts or on this forum, but I did get a message around August 4th or 5th saying he know someone that might have the part. I emailed the guy who said he had salvaged the part and quoted a low price for it. Right then, I shold have known that something that sounds too good to be true, usually isn't true; but this scam artist sounded like a very sincere salt-of-the-earth type guy. I actually offered more than he requested, we had a couple back and forths about the shipping costs, and.... now I'm out a total of $390. I've learned that making payments through PayPal to a "friend or family member" (as the scammer requested) disqualifies the payments from dispute, and my bank is doubtful about reimbursing me for the scam. The scammer's name was Pecker Stone (or, probably not), and he directed my payments to an account in the name of Bernadine Dahlstrom. I wish I could identify the sender of the initial message.... BEWARE.
