Fuel Economy App Seeking iPhone Beta Testers

Hello everyone,

I am working on a fuel economy app that is focused on statistical control tracking and methods, trending of data, flagging abnormal results,etc. I am looking for anyone who is interested in being a beta tester of the app, the idea being you can use it free for a period and report bugs, provide feedback, etc. I will admit it's a niche app targeted at people who enjoy graphs, numbers, data and such. I wanted to make it for myself and hope others may find benefit.

There must be many, many miles being driven here and I wanted engage the group!

At this time I am starting with an app for iPhones. If you are interested please DM me with your email, and when I begin the test flight you will be allowed download the app in the App Store.

Hello there. The main benefit, outside of just being a fuel economy data logger, is knowing when the variation is abnormal--using statistical rationale. As you log fill ups, the app will develop control limits, and if you have a fill up outside of those, it means it was a statistically significant result. I.e. something is off from normal variation, maybe it was a typo on entry or perhaps it's truly a shift, and worth investigating the vehicle further. Hope that makes it clearer. As I noted, this is a new idea still and in development, feedback may help highlight other features to add.
