I have a 97 Roadtrek 190. When we travel we would like to have some type of GPS system. My brother demo'ed the Tom-Tom that he uses and he also bought software for his PC computer and says that it works about like the Tom-Tom. The Tom-Tom seemed to work very well. It looks like that are about $300.00 from I see on line.

However I have a Mac Book Pro and would like to have software that would run on my computer. I made a mount for the computer that sets up front.

It just seems silly to have another "thing" when I have the computer. The problem is that I don't know if there is any software that will run on the Mac. I know I can run windows on my Mac but I don't want to mess with windows. I am just a simple commercial artist and not smart enough to run two operating systems.

Thanks for any suggestions that you might have.

Here is one that I found on the net.

I have a Macbook (not the intel version) but will get it when Leopard comes out. I haven't had a need for GPS yet but in a couple of years I will begin doing some serious traveling and will be purchasing sofware.

The GPS software the link below leads to is: "Routebuddy." It has good reviews.
