House Battery Led Volt Meter

I have a 2005 Chevy Roadtrek 210. Is there an easy way to connect/install an Led voltmeter? I would like to install somewhere near the Monitor panel but can't seem to locate the hot and ground wires.

Volt meter

Used a hole saw for a round LED volt meter in the panel with the other indicators. Also for a momentary push button to activate the VM. Attached the + to one of the fuse terminals and the - to ground.

That's what I was going to do but I can't seem to locate the hot and ground. I am used to red being hot and black being ground. ????

On the fuse panel, find a fuse that remains hot, connect the wire from the VM marked POS or +, attach it to the fuse holding clip. locate any point that is grounded and connect the NEG or - wire. I don't recall where I did.
Easier done than described.

You have no 12 volt outlets running off of the house battery?

To all, Thanks for your inputs. It made me think a little. I dislike cables and devices I have to leave plugged into receptacles. That's just me. Anyway, I loosened the fuse panel and found a hot and ground. Drilled a hole and fit a usb/push button volt meter in.

That's a very nice looking installation. Far superior to what I rigged up on our 210P. The important thing is you now have a convenient source to give you the voltage of your batteries.

Here is an easy to understand color chart that I printed out years ago and keep handing, although over the years I have pretty well memorized the voltage to percent charged depicted here.
