We just purchased a 2021 Roadtrek Agile SS to use as our toad. (yes, a driveshaft disconnect is required) I am in love with this little van but I am struggling with my first experience of lithium batteries. All the Firefly tells me is that the batteries are on and a basic level. I have no idea how I can check the health of these batteries, if they are truly charging properly etc. I am also struggling with the UHG not appearing to charge while driving.

My dealer is doing the best they can but are totally new to the Roadtrek system themselves.

Is there something I can add to the system to give me the stats of the existing batteries? Ive read other posts that the cycles, life etc are shown on a reader of some sort...

A Victron Energy Smart Shunt may be your best option. I don't personally use them yet because I have BMS with an App to monitor mine but considering the smart shunt for the under-hood AGM.

Thanx D&C!
I googled it and it seems pretty straightforward. Exactly what I want. I have two lithiums and two AGM's but I'm only interested in monitoring the lithiums so it looks like the 712 would work but I'll call them before ordering.
