I am in the process of purchasing a new Laptop computer, my interest is towards the Dell Inspiron 1525, Memory: 4GB, Hard Drive: 320 GB, HD Display: High Resolution, glossy wide screen 15.4 inch, (1440x9000), Dell Wireless 1505 Wireless-N Mini-card, and the processor Intel Core 2 Duo T5850 (2.16GHz/667MhzFSB/2MB cache).

Also thinking of including the AVer TV Hybrid Nano Express ATSC TV Tuner w/ Media Center Remote Control when ordering the Laptop.

Thinking of taking out the TV in my RT and using the Laptop for TV viewing, would like to know if the laptop can be connected to the RT antenna and be able to receive TV reception when the change takes effect in February 2009.

I do have a Zenith DTT901 DTV converter box with the analog pass-through, believe I would have to connect the DTV converter box to the laptop and TV antenna connection on the RT. Imagine there would be no problem receiving TV reception in the RT when connected to Cable.

Any info regarding the Laptop for receiving TV reception/viewing would be greatly appreciated.

The laptop should have a PCMCI slot on it. There's a lot of accessories you can get that plug into that slot. TV receivers are one. I'm sure they would come in analog and digital.

I've never done this with my laptop Ron, so I won't be of much help. The card's specs look good:

I can think of only a couple of negatives:

1. You won't be able to do two things at once such as you watching a movie and your wife catching up on email.

2. You'll have to connect everything up to watch TV and probably have to disconnect it all and put it away when you're done.

Both are small issues.

Will you be able to watch TV / Movies from both the front seats and when you're lying in bed?

Mark I am the one that uses the computer, so don't have to worry about Rose going on the computer, don't have to worry about Rose watching TV, although she likes her ABC News, Charlie Gibson, Good Morning America, and Lost.

Rose does love to read, so no problem, yes can either watch in the front seats or lying in bed.
