On my 2008 170 RT w/inverter I can only access two ac outlets yet there are at least two other outlets that can't be utilized unless I fire up the generator (or use shore power). Is that the way the inverter normally operates?

a 2008 roadtrek only has a 750 watt inverter in the inverter/charger. you are correct-only the entertainment center parts-tv/dvd player work off the inverter. I think there is 1 plug in the kitchen section that also does-however 750 watts is not a lot of power for devices-using it will probably blow a fuse/pop breaker.
