Is it possible to add a retractable awning?

Hi. I'm considering purchasing a 2001 RT. It does not have a retractable awning. Can a retractable awning be installed on a used RT? What are some sources to purchase the hardware, and who can install it? I live in southeastern WI, USA. Thanks for any advice.

Quick answer: Yes you can install an awning

Look through the owner manual and brochure to see if you can find the brand and length of the awning used for your model year.

All of the Roadtreks I've seen have Fiamma awnings.

Any RV shop should be able to install it for you.

I installed mine myself. It is not difficult, you just need some help holding up the awning.

Any Class B shop should be able to supply and mount it for you.
