Need assistance from someone specifally knowledgable of 2002 pleasureway excel td class b . 12volt system

you may get better luck on the face book group for older pleasure way RV's. lots of excel owners there

I have a 2006 Lexor- I have a pretty good handle on electrics. what's up ( or down) ?

Replaced batteries, no 12v power to lights and monitor panel. Start generator 1 min later all 12v systems are good.

check the 80 amp chargeline breaker which is on the line from the alternator to the coach 12 volt DC ( it will be with your other DC breakers usually behind a cabinet type door below the pass bed)

DO NOT RESET if it is tripped

you may have your batteries connected incorrectly

PW uses WHITE for negative

and RED for +

Ordered new one...80amp
Prior to this have never had a problem.
Was an all of sudden incident. Wiring connections have been a constant.

if you are absolutely certain your batteries are wired correctly... absolutely

then reset the 80 amp breaker

and see what happens.

FYI the converter ( which is used when on shore power or genny to turn AC into DC) has fuses on the output. on most Intellipowers the fuses are 30 amp and right by the black and red output cables. on other brand the fuses may be internal.

Not suggesting anything beyond you should know that there are fuses in case you ever have an issue with no DC when on shore power/genny

and you DO have your battery disconnect turned to "ON" which is red key in and turned clockwise ( can't remove key)

easy to overlook- and this one comes up ALL the time ( like twice a day) on the FB group.

another BTW:

when disconnecting a battery always disconnect negative first.

when connecting battery always connect negative last

You should join the actual PW owners group on groups.io. It’s been going for 3 years and has lots of people with older models willing to help.

If the batteries might have been wired incorrectly the converter fuses will blow. Otherwise, what’s been mentioned already will be your choices. Red disconnect key needs to be in and on anytime you’re using the van and want electrical, the 80A breaker (controls alternator charging), the smaller DC breaker labelled converter has a little black button on the side to reset if you’ve not got 12V power when parked.

Make sure you always have a voltmeter in the van so you can troubleshoot electrical issues and see where you lose power.

there are a couple of FB groups for pleasure way owners. I use the one with PW owners helping each other " in the name.

There are several PW groups on FB - some for owners only and some for owners and wannabes.
There’s also the original owners group which is not on FB that’s been around way before FB (almost 30 years) on the groups.io platform. It’s a group friendly website and technical forum rather than a social media platform with no proper group structure. On a proper groups friendly platform, it’s much easier to organize and find information with a search function that actually works. This one is owners only though.

Cheers
