Trying to find out the approximate loaded traveling weight of a 2002-2008 Excel TS, TD. or RD. If anyone weighed their ready for travel Excel I'd appreciate what that total was.

Thanks for all replies.

Yes, I definitely suggest that you have your rig weighed at a Cat Scale, it's not expensive. Download the PDF for the vehicle online. This guideline might help.
A 2006 Pleasure Way Excel TS typically has a loaded weight capacity, or Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), of 9,500 pounds. This means the total weight of the vehicle, including passengers, cargo, and fluids, should not exceed 9,500 pounds when fully loaded.

I'm going to weight whatever Class B I might end up with. I was hoping I could get an idea of the weight before I purchased.

The E350 with single rear wheels is rated for 9500# gross weight and came with 245/75/16 E load rated tires that would have a max load rating of 3042#. AFAIK, every one ton SRW van of that era rated the rear axle at twice the single tire rating so the rear max would be 6084#. The front axle would probably be 4100-4300#. The 9500# can be spread front and rear as you like as long as it stays with n both axle limits.
I think nearly all of the SRW class B RV from the factories (not DIY) would be within about 300# of max, so 9200-9500#, based on weights we have seen on the forums. A fair number have also been overweight.
Everybody loads different stuff, so what somebody else weighs probably won't match what you will weigh anyway. We carry way different stuff now than when we started in 2008.
