Hi. New to the thread and the class B world. We have had a number of different RVs over 20 years, including two gigantic bus conversions, one class A triple slide and most recently a class c triple slide. Recent move from LA to Pittsburgh means we have lots to explore on the east coast, which had been too far before. We got the Sprinter based class B for ease of driving/parking in eastern cities we will explore. Avid photographers, hikers and fishers, looking forward to state and national park campgrounds as well. Downsizing our stuff has been a challenge, coming from the bus world where it was impossible to fill all the space or get over-weight. Change of mentality from "when in doubt, bring it" to "when in doubt, leave it home." Great to find a group experienced with the Class B world. See you on the road!

Welcome to the forum Bryan!

Downsizing the extent you are will be a huge adjustment. But just as the rv world is one of compromises, you'll find many positives to offset the negatives of a class b.

Every time I hit the campsite, I'm jealous of all the trailers, 5th wheels, class "c's" and class "a's" for their great living space. But I'm never jealous whenever I'm driving, parking, or filling the gas tank. Since that is the majority of our waking hours, a class b has been great for us.
