lpg volume in cold weather

From what I read, the volume of LPG decreases as the weather cools. Does anyone know how much the liquid volume in a propane tank decreases from 70 degrees to 30 degrees ambient temps?

My OPD will shut off the tank at 7 gallons at 70 degrees, but it seems to take more in colder weather. I am wondering how much more: could it be a noticeable amount, say a half-gallon or more?

I think this chart is probably the correct one, but can't prove that as all the information is very sketchy that I found.

One place said 1.5% per 10*F others said 2%.

The chart seems to indicate that it changes at about .002 gallons per *F per gallon so that would be 2% per 10*F.

Very little difference, must be another mechanism in your tank in play.

The 30*F the OP referenced would give 6% change in the liquid propane volume so about .4 gallon less for a 7 gallon tank and 30*F change if I did it all correctly.

If it is 2% per ten degrees, wouldn't a change 70 to 30 degrees be 8%, which would be about a half gallon in a tank that holds seven gallons?
