Hello, New owner of a 2010 Sprinter Roadtrek Agile. I am currently replacing the floor with some laminate flooring. The wife wants to get rid of the table in the back. So, upon removing the socket for the table, I found my self looking down at the rear diff. Anyone have recommendations on a good way to plug the hole?

Thanks.

If there's good access from below, I would first lay the new floor, then working from the underside, apply some kind of mastic to fill the hole, then place some kind of patch over the mastic. Something like "eternabond" tape would probably work.

We have the same rig as you and never use the table. Could you just leave the socket in the hole and go right over it with your laminate?

I ended up putting down Pergo flooring and put the socket back into place. It is low profile enough it shouldn't get in the way.

I have a similar table socket in the rear of my van. Its surface is just proud enough to cause a significant bulge in any flooring laid over it, were I to go that route. I'm glad to hear yours isn't that tall.
