I was at Walmart getting a bag of chips and decided to cruise the camping section. Here's what I found for $40

The largest pot and the frying pan are about 8" across.

That's a well designed for RVing good buy. Too bad it won't work with my electric induction cooktop.

Just bought this cookset (from original post) from Amazon. Price drop from Wally World - $12.99 shipped. Should work well in out coach. Don't have induction, just the LP stove. Heck for that price it is almost disposable. LOL!

That's a REALLY good buy! I think those pots are on closeout. I saw a similar set in a different box, same manufacturer, for a bunch more than you or even I paid. I used them this last weekend and I was careful to not expose the handles to flame. They worked fine.

Beware of the really cheap cookware. The non-stick coating will end up in your belly.

I always use wooden utensils on cookware. If the coating does indeed start to peel or chip or whatever, simply toss them. We are trying to figure out what we really need and this is an inexpensive way to make the determination.

The finish on those pots is anodizing, not Teflon. I think you'll be fine, especially since your using wooden utensils.

I ordered a set from Amazon at $12.99. They were shipped from Woodland Supply. Unfortunately what arrived was a set of Couglans lantern mantles instead. I got word from Woodland today that Amazon has mixed up the SKUs. Woodland says they don't even sell the cookware set. They refunded my $12.99.

Same thing happened to me, ordered pans and got later mantles. Amazon refunded the money, so the search for pots and pans continues.

:(

How do you wash your wooden utensils? Mine end up splintery.

2016 Zion on order

Wash the wooden utensils in warm soapy water, no harsh scrubbers. I've got some that are years old. Bamboo is the new way to go in the wooden utensils. Renewable resources. Really tough.
