Hi,
RV dealer is offering a new 2011 Roadtrek Agile SS for 80k from 100K + MSRP, Is this a good deal? Thanks for any advice.

I also found a used PW Ascent with 6500 miles on it, how much should I offer? thanks.

If it is on a 2008 chassis, it could have as much as $4000 rebate on it. If so, that makes it not as good a deal. The Roadtrek site doesn't say if there is a rebate on 2011, but there is on 2010. I would find out from Roadtrek if there is a rebate, and if there is, try to get that on top of the deal offered.

@ Booster, thanks for the reply. I don't think they offer rebates on 2011 models yet. Anyway, time is on my side, I'll wait for a better deal. Thanks.

You really going to wait? I thought, after browsing for new Agiles, that the $80k was pretty good steal. VERY good, in fact. What am I missing?

Hi,
Maybe it's a good deal, they are not budging on 80k, I offered 75k.. no go. They are offering the 2010 for 72K though.
I also looked at the Pleasure way Ascent, better craftmanship on the inside in my opinion. They are not making 2011 models yet.
Someone snagged the last one from the dealer for 68K. :(

I know the B's are popular, but if the Dealer has your name and number, I wouldn't negotiate any further; I ascribe to the theory that he has to sell, not you have to buy. The season is over, and is he willing to let it sit and sit....I kind of doubt it - the longer it sits the more it cost him in interest. And while your at it, I would check out other dealers, distance doesn't really matter.....a good deal is worth the drive. Keep us posted and safe travels. Ron

Well, whatever you wish to do. At today's interest rates it might cost the dealer $800 or so, no more, to keep it over winter. In the springtime they sure won't drop the price by 5K IMHO.
