As we age the desire to camp is leaving us. I want big and sleep in a bedroom, She wants small and sleep in hotels. We travel mostly and still enjoy the adventures. We currently travel in a 2005 Roadtrek 210V (22 FT). It was suggested to go to something around the 18/19 foot. We then could use as a 2nd vehicle with easier pakring/etc. I know some people are going to say they have no problem parking their 210 and I say great for you. Maybe an SS agile would be a better 2nd vehicle than a 210.

I have a 02 Chevy 200P. I find I need to look for parking spots that I can back into often at the end of rows if they have sidewalks between them. On last trip to Stone Mountain Ga for the Xmas show I checked Google Earth before getting there and had a few spots picked out. Some not all of the new fast food places are not doable.

Was looking at new 19/20 foot C B+with a friend, the storage is pathetic , my 200 has way more storage. I did not see anything in an 18 foot.

If you like your Chevy, the similar but substantially shorter Roadtrek 170 might work for you and feel similar driving. It also has a shorter wheelbase so more maneuverable. There appear to be quite a few available on the used market now.

We have had both a Roadtrek 190 and a Roadtrek 210. We have also had a couple of small (23foot) Class Cs over the years. There is no question in my mind that the 210 is not as maneuverable as the 190. Booster's suggestion about the 170 is a good comment. By the way, the small C compared to the 210 was just a nightmare in some aspects. A small C is a truck and a 210 is a van. Useable storage space wise, the 210 beat the C hands down. Like Bangorbob, I am getting along in years and that makes a difference as well. If I was choosing between a 170, 190 or 210 today I would still go for the 210 for our use because we enjoy the shower and our 210 is the twin bed model with armoire. I just wouldn't want to give up the storage space for all the junk we carry for extended trips and camping.

I bought a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited new when it came out and was the first of that body style. Last year, I bought a new 2024 Grand Cherokee Limited. Same as the 190 vs 210, the new GC is a few inches longer, wider and taller and parking it is much different. I am amazed at how much difference a few inches makes in the handling and parking.

We have a Roadtrek Chase on the new version of the RAM ProMaster chassis. It’s 20’10” long and fits in most parking spaces. It drives and handles well with excellent interior storage. It’s been extremely reliable to boot. MPG is surprisingly good. 😊
