QD modification

We sold our older HD Rialta and bought a much newer QD model. My wife hates it because of the layout. She says it's a mans thing with those two big lounge chairs and little storage space. I love it but have decided to keep peace in the family I will take out the lounge chair behind the drivers seat and install cabinets.This is no small task but we will make it work. My bride will have four additional drawers and one cabinet door. It will also have a large countertop for meal preparation. All will be painted to match the interior and have a laminate counter top. Remember, "happy wife, happy life." When the project is complete (March 5 target) I will have pictures available.

Agree ! We took both chairs out. 4-drawer, plastic chest-of-drawers from Sterilite was only $58 at Walmart. Fits perfectly behind the driver's seat. And the gray/putty color matches the new carpet we installed. Re-dyed all the plastic to a darker gray to match the dash color. Once we re-upholster with sunbrella we'll have a "new" Rialta. These units are made for retro-fit !
