The rear of my 1995 Dodge Explorer sits lower than the front. This is even with all the stuff we carry in the back storage area out. I was pricing an air bag systems and with installing at RV dealer the est. was around $1000.00. Can the rear leaf springs be redone and if so is this cheeper? Any sugestions would be great!

It's been a long time since I had it done but I have had rear leaf springs re-arched and an extra leaf added. You really need to price around because I found a huge difference in pricing. You also need to get a garage that speciallizes in suspension.

The last vehicle I had done was a 1988 Jeep Cherokee. I bought front coil springs but need them installed. I priced around and found one company would install the front springs, re-arch the rear springs and added an extra leaf. It was quite a while ago but it cost $350 to have it all done. It was pre-1992.

Renrut: is right it's the best way to go. cheep er too.Had it done to 3500 dodge and it worked fine. Walt
