Hey everyone, just wanted to share some of the mods I have done over the course of 1 year since owning my 2008 210v.

I replaced the 2 12v AGM batteries for 1 Lithium 300ah. For charging on shore power I have disabled the Tripplite charger and instead use a 30amp lithium battery charger that I connect to the AC plug by the battery housing. To charge during driving I installed a renogy Dc2DC charger which I was able to fit in the back storage compartment. Where the inverter switch is located I installed 12v sockets for addtional power and a renogy one core. . With the renogy once core I can track battery level, I'm able to use other accessories such as a motion detector and thermometer, these accessories use zigbee to connect to renogy one core. I added thermometer inside and outside the cab (item circled in green). Outside the cab I have motion sensors at each entry point(item circled in red). The nice thing about the renogy core is you can notify you when motion is triggered.

One thing I noticed after driving at night for the first time is how dimly the headlights are, to remedy this I replaced the bulbs with LEDs and I also installed additional external LED lamps. I was able to find an OEM GM lamp button which I use as a switch to power on/off the LED lamps. Inside the cabin I replaced all bulbs with LEDs with the exception of the lights under the bed.

So now you have no inverter?

It would less confusing for readers if you used amp hours for batteries which is what you are talking about, energy storage, unless of course you are quoting "starting power" specs from the the battery. Amps are what current is flowing at that particular time

I still have the inverter, I just disabled the charging function.

Thanks for that feedback, I edited the post to specify Amp Hours

Congratulations on all the upgrades. When I converted my 06/190 p 3 years ago I ditched the trip light all together and installed a 2kw PSW inverter and I also went with Renogy's dc/dc 50 amp charger/solar controller and a victron 20a 110v charger.
I could only fit two 100ah lithiums in the original battery compartments and was a tight fit.
Do the 210s have bigger battery compartments? And is that where you installed your 300ah battery?
My 200 amp hours has so far been plenty but another hundred would have been nice.

I'm not sure about the dimensions of the battery compartment for the 190 vs the 210 but I do I have the 300AH in the battery compartment. This is the battery I bought, check out the dimensions and see if it fits in your 190 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DL9MNRDN?th=1 . I found about about this 300ah battery through the facebook chevy roadtrek group page, someone there installed a different brand 300ah "mini" lithium battery
