Battery Charging Question
Here’s the indicators and voltage levels under 3 scenarios:

1. Generator Running
Battery voltage indicates 12.1-12.6
Tripplite indications:
Battery Light Red Low
Operations Light Green Line

2. Van Engine Running
Battery Volt 13.7
Battery Light Green High
Operations Light Inverter

3. Shore Power
Batter Volt 12.3-12.4
Battery Light Red Low
Operations Light Line

Tripplite switch in Auto/Remote

Why the large battery voltages? It seems charging batteries is best with Van running? Is something off here?

I may have found the reason. On the Tripplite there is a DIP switch for low charge amps or high charge amps. It is set to low charge which I think is more like a trickle charger. Set it to high but have to wait until I run batteries down.

After being plugged in all night battery voltage was 13.7
