Roadtrek Exterior Side Cabinet Water Leak

I'm wondering if anyone has had to fix a leak in the large Roadtrek exterior side cabinet? I get water pooling in one of the latch areas and this leads to water getting inside the cabinet. Is there a replacement gasket trick or should a new latch be purchased and that should take care of the issue?

Had the problem, and removed the latches from the lid. There is a rubber gasket (on top or underneath lid?) that I slathered with silicone grease and no leaks for many years now.

I'll check ours but as I recall, there's a perimeter gasket. I don't see one on your compartment. That's where we store our water hoses so I've drilled a hole at either end as a drain.

A help to prevent water from finding its way to the compartment lid is to keep the black rubber gutter, seen in the fist picture, clear of dirt so water drains to either end instead of spilling over onto the lid.

I got to dealing with this yesterday. The black rubber gutter is clear and the perimeter gasket is in place. When I removed both latches, I find that the one that leaked is missing the rubber gasket, and the latch was siezed together and loosely installed. I'm trying to get the latch unstuck to reuse, but also contacted a company (Southco - what's currently installed) to try to get replacement latches and gaskets. I'll post a resolution when I get things sorted out.

Anyone know how to remove this side drawer from the chassis? When boondocking last year when we damaged the piping coming from the exterior tank, it tweaked the front portion of this side cabinet and I need to remove the drawer to access the mounting bracket. I do not find any release tab to separate the slider to remove the drawer. Is this one of the heavy duty styles that you need to physically unbolt the slide from the chassis or drawer?

I had the same issue on my 07C210. It was leaking at the hinge and water seeped into the compartment. I didn't need to change the hinge but I did seal it on both sides (inside and outside) with Dicor roofing sealant. No water leaks since I did it almost ten years ago.
