Have a 2011 Roadtrek 210P with a shattered top half of the rear side window. Can anyone tell me where I might find replacement glass?

We also have a 2011 Roadtrek that needs a side window repair. Has anyone found a source for this? Thanks!

Curious...

Do either of you know; When, or How, these windows shattered?
  1. Internal - Self-induced, eg. something from inside the van
  2. External - Rock flying, or other object while driving
  3. External - Tree limb, storm damage, etc..
  4. External - Vandalism
  5. External - Temperature differential
  6. Other

Just looking for an "ounce of prevention."

In our case we think it was a stray golf ball! Not sure if there is anything to do to prevent that.

This is what I think I know.

The original CR Lawrence windows, due to proprietary agreement, can only be bought through Roadtrek. Roadtrek isn’t selling.

Do a search of van windows. CR Lawrence is still in business and has a list of windows it sells. Other companies sell comparable windows.

Get your cutout dimensions and try to match them up with a standard product from any of the van window companies. Hope you find one. I haven’t had to go through the exercise yet. It is still in my furture.

Thanks! That is what we have been doing. So far we haven’t had much luck. The windows available don’t fit the opening - either too small or too large. We have been asked if we would consider cutting a larger hole. We really don’t want to do that. We’ll keep looking. Thanks again for your suggestion.

Try a Pleasure Way window. Hopefully you have a dealer nearby.

The minor problem is they sell parts through a VIN number. You don’t have a Pleasureway VIN number so their system collapses. If you can find a Pleasureway with a similar sized window get the VIN number and with the dealer’s help order a replacement.

My memory says the window sizes are very close. I was headed that way years ago but didn’t complete the quest.

I remember it being a perfect match with the Chevy Pleasureways.

You won’t be listed as the owner of that VIN number so their system will have a hissy fit but if the dealer will work with you, you can make it happen.

Window was replaced with plastic before I bought. I have been looking for glass for long time and have had no success. Replacement is a cheap plexiglass and looks bad so replacing is in the bucket list. 02 Roadtrek 200

I am working a few leads. I’ll post if I’m successful in getting it replaced.

Just curious, with the plastic replacement were you able to open and close the window? I would think that would be a decent fix. Maybe a better plastic replacement could work for you? Just a thought.

Plexiglass is a comon term (like Xerox/Kleenex). If you can't find the glass replacement, Lexan (another common term for a more durable polycarbonate) is available with a UV coating to enhance weathering. Also available smoked, it is "virtually" indestructable" - so less worry for that errant golf ball!

There are shops online to custom cut, or perhaps a "traditional" sign shop could accomodate.

There appears to be more to it than going to Home Depot, buying a piece of plexi and cutting it. I have not investigated but need a UV protected plastic or you get what I have, kinda junky looking.

I have seen plastic replacements that were indistinguishable from glass until very close examination, and even then it looked good. Probably material like Bud used

A Pleasure way side window on a Ford E-350 Van is 33 1/2 inches wide by 24 inches tall. I don’t have access to my Roadtrek 190P to compare.

Anyone want to measure and compare?
