Roadtrek square screw bit

I have found the Square screwdriver bit at my local HW Store.
There are some screws in my 2017 Roadtrek SS Agile that are smaller than the #1. (curtain rail at top of sliding door)
Has anyone found a set of bits for smaller square bits?

All the Canadian converters use the far superior Robertson screwdrivers. Not sure why the US didn't switch to them and be done with constant stripping done by ours... especially the phillips.

I ended up with 3 of those. Two stubby ones with my two Roadtreks and a large one from LTV.

I've been meaning to post on here asking if anyone knows where to get the Robertson screws, which aren't exactly the same as the square head screws in the U.S. I have the optional armoire in my 99D190P, and it's missing several of the screws. It hasn't been a problem until the past 3 years, in which the door has started to sag. It's sagging to the point that I had to put a shim behind the latch so the door would stay shut, but now it's still coming open while driving, so I need to replace the missing screws. Does anyone know where I can get the Robertson screws, or are people on here just using Phillips or square head screws?

I did find out some trivia about the Robertson screws, however. Henry Ford wanted to use those in his cars since they were superior screws. He wanted to get a patent in the U.S. on them though to prevent his competitors from using them, but Robertson wouldn't agree to that. So Ford used Phillips screws instead, and apparently the rest of the U.S. just went along with those!

The current square drive screw has parallel sides, as well as our screw drivers. The Robertson screw and driver have slightly tapered sides. The taper makes it easier to insert the tool and to keep the screw on the driver. It also made for easier removal.

Thank you! I ordered them, but I have one more question. The screws in the armoire are 3/8", but the smallest I could order are 5/8". Will 5/8" be too long? I was having trouble finding 3/8" square head screws at the hardware stores here too.

They might be too long. You'll have to measure what you are screwing into. Since the threads are already formed in the armoire you might be able to shorten the screws by cutting, grinding, etc. This will leave a blunter nose but should work in the existing holes.
