I have lost one of my fobs to our 2018 Roadtrek ZION SRT and am trying to get another one programmed. The OEM fob has been cut and works perfectly, but cannot be programmed. I have had two different places try to program the new fob, including the local RAM dealership, to no avail.

I'm guessing Roadtrek made a change or two to the OBD2 which prevents programming. I have been unable to contact Roadtrek and can find no information on the web.

Any help is appreciated.

As far as I know, the only possible effect that Roadtrek may have done would be if you have the voltstart option. Do you have it? Otherwise it is totally a ram issue that they would have to do the reprogramming.

If you have voltstart, you need to talk to Roadtrek if there is not a RT dealer nearby. An option is to join the FB Zion and Simplicity owners group on Facebook.

Yes, we have the Voltstart option. But I can't find anything online or in our paperwork about the changes so that I can change them, temporarily, so the programming can take place.

Thanks for the quick response mumkin.

Check out on the FB page because we have a few members with the voltstart. Our Admin there has it and also the Roadtrek service manager is a member and passes through almost daily. He was also with the old company when they were installing it. If you hate FB, as most of us do, just use a fake name. lol I do...
