I took out the second row of seats on my 2011 Chevy RT 210 Versatile, I found the perfect dresser minus the metal legs at Ikea and screwed about 20 woodscrews into the bottom and side, it wedges perfectly in the space, then I built a cheesy little removeable furnace cover on the other side out of wood slats and Elmer's glue until I can have a carpenter build a closet. for now I just set a cloth cube on top to hold stuff, and since I put a lip around it edge, it doesn't move when driving. I heard the armoires aren't the best quality, so it's likely vintage ones didn't survive this long. I did not save the second row seats since I had the upholsterer use the fabric to fix the rotting front seats, which turned out great, plus I still can seat 5 with the electric sofa in the back, if needed. I have a space to stash stuff behind the dresser, but I'd like to put a counter on top to match the other counter and hide that. I'm also thinking about vinyl wrapping it to match the cabinets I painted.
