I am buying a portable BBQ , and want to run it and my portable camp fire using a regular 20 lb propane tank . Meaning , 1 long hose from the tank to the circular camp fire and 1 medium hose to the BBQ . The question is , is there a safe fitting / junction , " T " ( brass ) that will work ? My concern is that the BBQ won't work properly because of a flow issue . Some portable BBQ's run on the small disposable tanks which I hope to convert to a regular tank to save waste in the land fill ! Any ideas ?

Take a look at this link:

I bought one of these (split one portable to two outlets)

from them.

Maybe give them a call.

Sounds to me like you need a splitter that gives one regular output and one portable outlet.
