Previously reliable truck wash company mistakenly used acid wash on most of our 2018 Sprinter white finish, removing the protective coat and dulling the finish.

Any suggestions on how we can restore the paint to its original protected status and what kind of providers can do this work?

Thanks for any ideas.

If it is non metallic white it may, or may not, have clearcoat on it.

If it is just dulled from the acid wash, and especially if they are paying like the should, you may be able to just get it scuffed and shot with a good two part urethane clear. The would give you at least as good of protection against the elements as stock assuming the original finish wasn't damage enough to make it not adhere well anymore.

Thanks for your reply. Hoping your analysis is correct and trying to find a company to help us.
