Anyone know what the glossy white plastic used for RV shower walls is made of? It's a thin plastic over paneling, not fiberglass. I need to cover a hole where I removed a sink and would like a similar material to match it.

I am not sure. I just removed my sink also. I did find a white, cutting board at Target (Farberware Essential 3 Piece Cutting board set) with the largest board at 11"x16" that fits over the hole perfectly however, I am going to a glass cutter who also does plastic and ask what it would cost to cut something to cover the hole. BTW, I found a metal kick-plate for a door at Home Depot that is 8"x16" that covers the back side of the hole perfectly.

It could be ABS? You can get it in very thin sheets and glue that onto a luan base. A plastics supplier may help. There's a good one in the Raleigh Area that handles all kinds of plastics from thick to thin. Piedmont Plastics is their name. Been there and its quite an operation.

Thanks guys. I used a piece of white acrylic on the inside and luan on the outside. Doesn't look bad at all and cleaned up the space nicely...
