Sway Bar update

I replaced the 1-3/8" GM rear sway bar that was installed by a RV shop a few months ago. I installed a Roadmaster 1.5" sway bar in the front and a Roadmaster 1.5" sway bar in the rear. I'm finally satisfied with the reduction in sway. In conjunction with the premium shocks and polyurethane bushings my long trips should be more comfortable. By the way, the generator was moved rearward 2" to make room for the stock GM rear sway bar. The Hellwig rear sway bar would not fit due to the differential bend in the bar was too far rearward, The Roadmaster rear bar has a differential bend just a little over 4" and is pretty close to the shape of the stock GM bar so it fit perfectly. I was able to use the stock GM sway bar links and hardware to install the Roadmaster Bar. Thank you all and especially Booster for the information and advice in fixing this comfort issue. Joe

Yes, you are seeing what many of us have over the years. Big sway bars, especially in the rear, are the Chevies best friend for handling.

What part number Roadmaster rear bar did you install?

Roadmaster 1109-149 in the front with End links Energy Suspension 9.8121R. Roadmaster 1109-173 in the rear which is the same as the 1109-208 but with fewer bushings and links; I didn't need all the extras. Both bars are 1.5" Heat treated Chromoly.

Hi Joe, I have a 07C210P and have been looking to add areas sway bar. I have the same problem as others with the generator. Can you tell me who did the install and who moved the generator. I am located in CT and can't find anyone here to perform the work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Previously I owned a Chevy van and installed the sway bar myself but I didn't have to deal with a generator.
