We are relatively new Plateau-TS owners. We are not new rver’s, we have been rving since 1964 in just about every rv type made.
We took our Plateau-TS on a maiden voyage, and discovered some things we thought needed changing or were missing.
We would like to know what other Plateau-TS owners have done regarding the things listed below.
In advance, we thank you for your advice/input.
#1.
We noticed that when the electric sofa is in the upright position and a person is sitting whether the vehicle is moving or not there is no place to put a can of pop or a mug, so that it does not spill.
#2.
At night when the sofa is down for sleeping, we like to have a drink of some kind available for dry throat or whatever. Again there is no place to put a can of pop or a mug, so that it does not spill. I guess that same solution could be used for #1 and #2.
#3.
The Plateau-TS has a table and pedestal that goes into the floor in front of the sofa which can be used for eating and using a laptop. This is okay, but when you want to recline the sofa the table and pedestal must be removed and put away. This is a pain in the you know what. We would like to know what you use and what modifications if any you have made that would allow eating, or using a laptop, but not having to put up and take down a table and pedestal.
Some ideas we have been thinking about would be to use something like a TV tray, that fold flat and can lay on the floor beneath the sofa, when it is in the bed position. Other ideas are a fold down table mounted to the wall, on either side of the sofa.
Please let us know your ideas and what you have done to address these situations.
