Time limits for editing

Recently photobucket has disabled all links to photos stored on their sight.That has ruined a lot of threads on this forum, especially instructional posts.

Also unfortunately, the way this forum is set up, one (I) cannot revisit old threads and relink photos. Could this feature be turned off to allow editing of older posts so that they can be useful again?

I have been able to "repair" post on another forum by unlinking PB
