Timing chain or belt?

Hello:

Does anyone know if the 2007 Roadtrek 170 (built on the Chev Express 2500 chassis) has a timing chain or belt? I should be able to find this online, but I'm having trouble doing so...and our 170 is a LONG ways away. Thanks in advance.

It should be a 6.0 or 4.8 GM LS series engine with a timing chain.


The easiest place to find this stuff out is with a parts supplier like Rock Auto.


Just go their website, plug in your model information, and then look under whatever category the part would be in. The timing chain would be in the engine section.

Thanks Booster. I should've known you'd have the answer, and yeah, that's a great way to figure it out...I should've thought of that. By the way, it's the 6.0L and a chain. Thanks again B.
