Has anyone come across an install of one of these gasoline heaters in a Dodge Roadtrek 170? The Suburban propane heater works great, but I'd love to be able to crank the heat up higher for longer when boondocking in the winter.
I was wondering whether it could be installed in the floor of the "dinette" / sleeping area in the back: drill through the metal floor there (under the carpet) for the exhaust and intake and tap right into the rubber fuel hose for the generator that is easily accessible there (as is the battery for power). That would mean that it would be under the bed, of course, and I don't know if that is a good idea. Plus I haven't checked out how much clearance it requires all around.
Any thoughts?
