Hi all! I thought I should reintroduce myself. Although I have been a member of the Class B Forum since 2012, my participation tapered off after we sold our 97 American Cruiser in 2015 in favor of a Born Free Class C. Since then we have had 2 other Class Cs, but we recently decided to go back a B with our recent purchase of a 2003 Chevy Roadtrek 200 Versatile. When we had our American Cruiser, we found the Class B Forum to be a wealth of information and are looking forward to tapping into that resource again.

Welcome. I suspect the most common problem with the RT is the side windows falling out, they are irreplaceable so should be checked first thing. Next with the 200 is the large rear window should only be opened in an emergency which people do not know so become a source of problems.

That is excellent advise about the windows, and another area of concern are the crank mechanisms for the windows , treat them gently, don't use excessive force on them as they are no longer in manufacture, I contacted CR Lawrence and was assured they are obsolete the ones that fit RT200 are different from other models.
Also I put safety cables on all exterior compartment doors because if you lose them they are irreplaceable. Check the condition of the plastic hinges on all the compartment doors. They're a PIA to replace. Enjoy your Roaddie!

Thanks! I'll take a closer look at them.
