Hi...I'm interested in purchasing a Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser G24. I am only interested in a G24, not a G22 or another vehicle. I'm in western Pennsylvania, so I guess for it to work, we probably need to be relatively close together. Please message me. Thank you...Bob

That was a floorplan that I thought was very good...

Yup - it was a superb floor plan, and TMK it really didn't have any competitors in its production window. There was no other Sprinter-based B that offered the same combination of features.

Recommendation for the OP: When looking for a rare older Class B, it can be to your advantage to search nation-wide. If you wait for one to come on sale close by, you might be waiting a long time. Also, this particular rig is sought after by #vanlife aspirants because of the "garage" under the bed (most #vanlifers are young and are carrying recreational gear such as bikes and boards). Even if one does appear locally, there might be competition for it.

We searched nationally for the relatively rare van we wanted - an Airstream Interstate RS model, which has jackknife couches in the rear. We lost out on several sales because they were essentially sold within a few hours of posting, and we didn't get there first. We got ours only because my husband pressed "But It Now" on eBay about five minutes before the next person did. We flew one way to Memphis to pick it up, and drove it back to Houston.

Thanks! I am looking nationally at rvtrader and such, but there is only 1 available. (It has 249k though.) That's why I figured I'd give it a shot with a post here- try to be more aggressive with my search. I only mentioned the distance factor since it's difficult this time of year for me to get away to fly and then drive home. I do love the floor plan, especially that rear garage!

There is another one on rtv.com. It was up there before Christmas and then disappeared but is back now.

As for the other one you mentioned from RVTrader with 249K miles. It appears to be well cared for with fresh paint and some recent repairs completed. Is it just the mileage on the engine that is of concern? I thought the Mercede's engines were supposed to go 500K.

Thank you so much! You rock!!!!

As for the 249k rig, I'm not as worried about the engine as I am on the wear-and-tear on the rest of the rig. I don't want to be constantly repairing things. I know that repairs are always going to be needed. I am just concerned it could be a money pit. You are correct, though, it did get some recent repairs and solar.

They are, but there is a popular misperception that they can do so in a touchless manner. They require very specific preventative maintenance. On that topic, I recommend Million Mile Sprinter's content (vids, IG, etc.). And of course, the T1N Talk section of Sprinter Forum.

I’ve been keeping an eye out for one of these to. Don’t worry I’m on the other side of the country from you 😄. They appear to be few & far between but I’ve heard nothing but good things about them. Here’s wishing us both good luck in finding one 😁

Thank you. I saw that on another site. It's a good price but too may miles for me. I know the engine can handle it, but my concern is the struts, brakes, and other components. Sooner or later I'll find the one for me.
